Updates & Cache.

Have you made a couple of updates to your site and saved your work, but you are still unable to see those changes when you test it in a new window? The Cache of your site is most likely the reason! In this video we will cover what Cache is and how you can purge or flush it so your updates can show.

If you are hosting with Flywheel, your settings will be slightly different, so watch until the end of the video. If you are on any of my Care Plans, you can purge your site’s cache directly from the WordPress menu as shown in the video.

Create A Backup

As with everything in technology, at times, things don't go as expected. You might stumble across a critical error or accidentally delete part of your work. This is why I always recommend creating a backup of your site before starting a series of updates.

If you're part of any of my Care Plans, my team and I create daily backups of your site. If you encounter any issues and need to use a backup, just contact us here and we will restore your site from its latest backup.
