Because of the highly customized nature of the product, it was important to create a system that would allow clients to ask for changes, input specific measurements, and select from a variety of add-ons within the same interface. The payment process also needed to account for these specific variations, modify pricing based on changes, and calculate shipping rates for each specific order and location.
Overall, this website automates the purchasing process, eliminates the need to create more than one invoice, and provides a way to easily update product information and styles.
